Don’t you just love mid-century style? This black wool twill coat with black fur (mink?) collar and cuffs was sold at the Mimi Shop in John Wanamaker’s, Philadelphia. I remember shopping there with my parents — this was my Mom’s style, too! I think it would be great with skinny pants, strappy heels and a bright, silky tunic-length sleeveless top for New Year’s Eve! And just $60 (free shipping)! What do you think? You can find it at my Tradesy closet (really it’s a shop, but there ARE clothes there from my closet!). “See what is. Acknowledge it without judging it as right or wrong. See it clearly without judgment and let it go. Come back to the present moment. From now until the moment of your death, you could do this. As a way of becoming more compassionate, as way of becoming less dogmatic, prejudiced, determined to have your own way, absolutely sure that you’re right and the other person is wrong, as a way to develop a sense of humor, to lighten it up, open it up, you could do this.”
I think the second line is most difficult, one constantly in tension with the mind.
